Spring Equinox

There are certain moments in the year that naturally invite deeper reflection—and the Spring Equinox is one of them!

This seasonal turning point offers something truly special: a moment of balance - equal light and equal dark. A recalibration, if you will. A quiet invitation to begin again.

It’s a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the past season, because the Spring Equinox also represents a shift—from inward to outward, from stillness to movement, from winter into the season of growth.

It's important to remember, it’s not about pushing forward all at once. It’s about finding balance - and knowing we can return to that balance with awareness and gentle growth, again and again.

The Spring Equinox reminds us that balance isn’t fixed—it’s something we return to - just like your yoga practice.

“Balance isn’t the absence of movement—it’s your ability to respond to it.” ~ unknown

Spring Equinox Guided Meditation

Take a few deep, slow breaths. Visualize your peaceful place between the earth and the sky in this still point of the equinox. Your perfect point of balance and an invitation to pause before we walk gently into the lighter half of the year. Take a moment to reflect on the months behind you, and perhaps visualize the path ahead - what you are looking forward to in the longer, brighter, warmer days.

Continue breathing in and breathing out, noticing the rise and fall of your breath. Finding balance in two equal moments of inhale and exhale.

Stay with this breath for a while.

Whenever you're ready, bring your awareness back to the room. Gently open your eyes or lift your gaze.
